As the Director of Benefits, you would be responsible for the delivery and administration of the Company's benefits programs. This includes the research, benchmarking, claims and trends analysis, forecasting, staff/vendor management, and employee communication and education. Ensures the regulatory compliance of all plans including health, welfare, and retirement. Manages the RFP processes and negotiations with vendors. Manages and supervises outside auditors and actuaries. Manages ERISA filings, 5500's, PBGC, QDRO's, PWBA, IRS determination letters, plan audits and legal compliance. Essential Functions: Ensures efficient administration of all employee benefit programs including health and welfare, wellness, retirement, and deferred compensation. Establish and implement ongoing procedures to ensure continuous improvement, consistency, accuracy and timeliness in administration. - Responsible for managing healthcare cost through state of the art wellness efforts, program design and vendor management.
- Provides strong vendor management leadership to ensure adherence to service levels. Holds regular meetings with vendors and regularly evaluates services. Recommends improvements/changes as necessary.
- Proven working knowledge of Health & Welfare programs, their administration and all applicable state and federal laws
Job Requirements
- Min 3 yrs exp in a supervisory role with a staff
- Min 7 yrs benefits administration, RFP, vendor selection, and negotiation experience
CEBS/CBP Certification preferred
