Newark is looking for a highly motivated Director of Call Center Sales that would lead the inbound sales teams to achieve sales, margin, productivity and quality objectives within the Newark Contact Center. 

 

  

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the geographic and customer segmented sales teams within the Cleveland Contact Center. 
  • Direct reporting responsibility for Contact Center Sales SOM’s and Team Leaders. 
  • Responsibility and accountability for the segment results of Newark Emerging (unassigned) customers through all sales channels, and Contact Center channel sales results for both assigned and unassigned business.  (Sales, Margin, Active Customer Results, Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Productivity, ROI)
  • Develop and execute the Sales Strategy, and Sales Tactics, as well as partner with the Marketing team to develop and execute the direct marketing campaign strategy to penetrate, grow, and retain Newark Emerging Customers.
  • Partner with the Newark Branch Sales Organization to maximize sales through all channels, and to gain operational efficiency through the creation and execution of a Multi-Channel Sales Strategy.
  • Manage performance and attract, retain, and develop talent to ensure that highest level of performance within the team.  In particular develop effective management team members, and contribute to their career development in order to build effective leadership into the organization.
  • Accountability for targeting resources to maximize sales and profit
  • Develop plans and utilizing all available resources to penetrate and grow NIO small customers.
  • Drive efficiencies through effective process implementation and resource planning
  • Demonstrate ability to contributing to improved profitability and RONA.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers for NIO Contact Center to capitalize in North America on key vendor relationships.
  • Contribute to sales channel and emerging customer strategy and overall channel management as one of the senior leaders in the Contact Center.
  • Develop and drive change programs
  • Lead team environment across sales channels and HQ
  • Other special projects & assignments as appropriate.


Job Requirements

  • College degree required, MBA a plus
  • Previous P&L responsibility  required
  • Proven Selling skills and past experience.
  • 7 + years sales management experience or equivalent
  • Experience managing and developing sales managers.
  • Exposure to Contact Center/Call Center telephony a plus
  • Proficient understanding of e-commerce, and e-marketing capabilities.
  • Proficient user of MS Office Products (especially Word, Excel)
