Job Description
Under the general supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Critical Care Services Director is responsible for the coordination of patient care activities, nursing employee duties and function of the units. The Critical Care Services Director is responsible for:
1. Providing qualified staff coverage on a 24 hour basis.
2. Planning and recommending a budget for the units.
3. Coordinating unit activities with other hospital departments of the hospital
4. Being a resource for clinical issues.
5. Practicing and promoting customer service on all levels.
6. Participating in Emergency situation.
7. Being an advocate for safety and well-being of patients.
