Job Description

We are a leading national company with a history of innovation in the transportation, foodservice and cold supply chain industries. PLM Trailer Leasing manages over 8,000 refrigerated trailers from 30 branch or satellite service locations.  Our service products include custom equipment rentals, full service term leases, finance style “Net" leases, contract maintenance, and data tracking programs. Our primary customer base is targeted food service, cold supply chain, and transportation customers.


We are seeking a Director of Financial Reporting, Planning and Analysis who has the ability to quickly learn the PLM business, understand advanced database concepts and interact with the user community to prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports.

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

-Prepare budgets/forecasts and perform variance analysis

-Responsible for preparation of monthly reporting package for parent company

-Multiple year projections â€" regularly publish a long range financial plan to support strategic planning and valuation

-Perform historical, short-term and long-term analysis of key strategic initiatives, business unit and company performance

-Work on business plans with parent company liaison

-Planning and strategizing with senior management team.  Provide counsel to the business leadership team on all financial matters with focus on maximizing revenue growth, profitability and cash flow generation as well as the activities associated with the revenue generation, cost management, operational expenditure, operational improvement, capital expenditure investment and asset management

-Interface with Accounting team as well as internal and external audit teams

-Perform specialized and ad hoc analysis as requested


Job Requirements

Requirements:

 

-BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred

-Experience in leasing company a plus

-Demonstrated experience producing and presenting analysis, valuation and recommendation materials to senior level management both at company and parent company.

-Superior analytical and problem solving skills. 

-Able to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information effectively.

-Ability to think both strategically and creatively.

-Ability to prioritize effectively and manage tight deadlines.

-Ability to work independently and to motivate and manage direct reports.

-Experience managing and coaching staff

-Excellent computer skills i.e. MS Excel, MS Access and Business Analytics (or similar analytical application)
