Director of Housekeeping
Basin Harbor Club is seeking a new member to lead our Housekeeping and Laundry Department. We are a seasonal, multiunit complex, with our own onsite Laundry facility. Experience with a destination property and be able to multitask, juggle multiple projects and tasks, be team oriented, a problem solver, analytical, planner and extremely organized required. Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation and overall appearance of our resort both in our guest rooms and our public areas, and overseeing our onsite Laundry facility. Oversees a staff of approximately 12 housekeepers, 2 Inspectors, 5 public space attendants, 7 laundry attendants, and 4 house persons. During off season focus on budgets, renovations, planning & projects. Must be self driven & work independently. Must be structured and able to see big picture, manage their staff to ensure a quality end result. CEH or REH Certification Preferred. Ability to compile facts and figures, strong communication and follow up skills. One to two years of post high school education. 5-10 years of employment in a related position. Working knowledge of SMS Host, knowledge of HOTSOS a plus. Very Computer literate. Position includes competitive benefits and salary package.
