Job Description
A full-time position in the Math, Science and Allied Health Department. Duties include buta re not limited to:
- Provides administrative leadership in assisting the Dean of Math, Science and Allied Health in formulating, directing and evaluating the Veterinary Technology Program including on-campus programs and distance learning initiatives.
- Manages all classes, faculty and staff.
- Schedules classes, assigns teaching duties and provides oversight of the facilities and college animals.
- Works closely with the District Office, other college departments and professional associates.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, D.V.M., plus three years teaching experience and administrative responsibility or comparable experience.
- Ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports and communicate with others.
- Requires technical communication skills to deal with veterinary technology faculty and other health professionals and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Official transcript will be required.
- A criminal background check will be conducted.
