JOB OPENING Date Position Available: October 9, 2009 Director/Technical Director WSFL-TV in Ft. Lauderdale, FL is actively seeking an individual for a full time position as Technical Director for our new live morning show in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Market #16. The individual must be able to switch and direct live fast-paced graphics-driven newscast. The qualified candidate must have 3 to 5 years experience as a director and technical director. Knowledge of Ross Vision switchers, ENPS, RTS intercoms, VizRT, remote controlled camera systems a plus. Additional experience in related video server systems, audio, microwave and satellite are also helpful. Shift requires overnight/early morning hours and holidays. Individual will also be called upon to do other duties as assigned. Must have strong people skills and work well under pressure. Candidate must also have the ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds and possess a clean driving record along with valid Florida driver's license.
