Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Dispatching Specialist receives, records, and distributes work orders to service crews locally and/or nationally, upon customers' requests for service.
- Caries out service routing plans for satellite installers in the field
- Tracks and communicates with installers to make sure they are on target for installation goals for the day
- Communicates with customers to schedule technician visits for service
- Keeps customers updated on arrival times and appointment schedules
- Communicates with technicians, in real time, any changes to the routing plan that may occur
- Organizes and relays additional jobs for technicians that may have jobs fall through
- Updates tracking grid to keep the operation apprised of current customer/technician statuses
- Keeps record of service calls and work orders
- Provides map support to installers that are en route to appointments
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 6 months to one year related or general office experience preferred related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A background check and drug test will be preformed as part of pre-employment.
