Job Description

Sodexo Facility Solutions division has partnered with The Mount Sinai Medical Center to provide management of their Engineering, Plant Operations and Construction Departments. The Mount Sinai Medical Center is an academic medical institution in Manhattan that provides multiple specialty services to the surrounding area. As a function of this new partnership, the District Manager will provide high level leadership to the client and Sodexo management team to oversee the day to day operations for the Engineering Department at this large tertiary care hospital � 1100 beds with multiple campuses and will also serve as a Vice President level on the Mount Sinai side. Being the leader of a multiple disciplinary team, the District Manager for Mt. Sinai ideal qualifications include having strong communication skills, team development, customer service, analytical thinking, financial review & development, regualtory compliance, and general engineering and systems knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5-7 years leading an engineering team in multi-location healthcare facilities preferrably at the executive level and having Department Directors report to you. A Bachelors of Science in an Engineering principle or comparible is strongly desired. A Masters Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration is preferred.



Position Summary:

Serves as the primary representative of Sodexo for multiple accounts in a designated geographic area. Responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all activities within the assigned geographic area through subordinate managers, supervisors and employees including financial performance, client retention, and employee training and development. Works with each client and the VP in all matters relating to contract and account operations in order to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship that ensures account retention. Develops a business plan and budget for the accounts with the GMs.

5 year(s) of lead/supervisory/management experience

Basic Functional Experience Required:
