In 2008, we opened 100 new stores and we have plans to open 90 to 100 new stores in 2009. With this phenomenal growth, we are looking to create new Districts!
We are seeking a District Sales Manager that is experienced in multi-unit retail management. We're looking for business leaders who have a passion for people, customer service and fashion. Additionally, we want a leader who can successfully manage 8 to 16 stores, drive sales, develop and lead a growing organization and promote our "whatever it takes" spirit.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive and maximize sales goals, while controlling shrink and payroll
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment, encouraging feedback and innovation
- Establish, teach, and demonstrate exceptional customer service through training, development and lead by example
- Ensure high standard for visual presentation, store layouts and overall cleanliness are maintained
- Ensure company policies and procedures, including cash control, shipping/receiving, and safety are constantly followed
- Recruit, develop, and retain qualified associates to ensure staffing needs are met
Job Requirements
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of three to five years experience in a retail multi-unit management environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills
- Must be a team player who can work effectively at all levels and with all areas of the company
- Strong ability to present new ideas persuasively and passionately
- Capability to influence the thinking of others at all levels
- Strategic orientation; able to grasp "the big picture" of where the company is headed and how it will get there
- Proven track record for training and recruitment of top talent
- Strong business acumen
- Ensure an outstanding in-store customer experience
- Implements and enforces good inventory protection standards throughout the market
- Ensures the execution of corporate initiatives
