Job Description
As a Driver, you will deliver pre-sold orders to customers identified in AOM (All Other Markets) as well as the Grocery Market as requested utilizing company procedures and safety measures. The Driver works closely with the supervisor staff and the dispatcher to ensure that deliveries are made in a timely and professional manner providing excellent customer service to our customer base. The ideal candidate will be professional, dependable, and enjoy working in a fast paced team environment.
The job duties set forth are not all inclusive, but do represent the primary duties performed by the colleague in this position.
Delivers beverage products to locations in a safe and courteous manner
Completes and turns in necessary paperwork according to customer and company policies
Maintain daily Department of Transportation (DOT) records
Advises management personnel of daily delivery problems and equipment failures
Turn in cash and checks daily to Accounting Department to balance with invoices
Keep truck fueled, cleaned and properly maintained
Ensure truck is properly prepared at end of day for loading
Merchandise product as required
Pick up product returns as needed
Job Requirements
Minimum of 2 years delivery experience and dealing with the public
Must possess a valid Drivers License, Class A CDL with a good driving record to meet company standards and guidelines.
Must be able to drive all types/size of tractor trailers up to 53 feet
Must be able to drive both an Automatic and 10 Speed Tractor
Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds or more repetitively
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills in order to communicate with all customers (internal and external)
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must pass pre-employment background (previous employment/criminal & credit), MVR and drug screening.
