- Collections Manager (Direct Hire)
Job Description
- Managing members of the team.
- Planning, evaluating, implementing and continuously improving all aspects of collection functions and processes
- Assisting in formulation of specific collection objectives and achievement of same
- Ensuring professional relationships are established and maintained with clients and attorneys.
- Direct interaction with selected clients in resolving receivables delinquencies
- Review collection reports to determine status of collection and balance outstanding and to evaluate effectiveness of current collection policies and procedures
- Audit delinquent accounts considered to be uncollectable; ensure maximum efforts have been taken before elevating to next step
- Understand court procedures in executing garnishments, bank attachments, certified judgments and liens.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate and provide directive to courts.
- Possess an understanding of how to handle civil procedures related to filing suits.
- Other duties may be assigned as business needs require them.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of seven (7) years work experience supervising and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must know and understand Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
- Strong attention to detail and consistent record of delivering results within strict timelines.
- “Team Player" attitude.
- Ability to work at a fast pace, while maintaining the integrity of all work produced.
- Results-oriented.
- Experience as a Collection Manager or Collections Department Manager a plus.

Typical Day
- Monday-Friday, 8 am-5:30 pm.
- Lunch hour and two fifteen minute breaks.
- Free parking
- Three on-site lunch rooms, equipped with refrigerator, microwave, sink, vending machines, coffee machine and water cooler.
- Business casual.
- Two casual days are offered per week: Friday and Wednesday
