Education Gaston College Dallas, NC DIRECTOR- Regional Emer- gency Services Training Center/ Fire and Rescue Training Bachelor's degree in Fire Sciences or bachelor's degree in any major with an associate's degree in Fire Sciences or Emergency Management required; master's preferred. North Carolina Level II Firefighter and Level II Fire Instructor certification, or equivalent Firefighter & Instructor certifications from other states that are eligible for reciprocity in NC through IFSAC and/or ProBoard. Five years of experience as a professional and/or volunteer fire fighter. Two years of supervisory experience in public safety. Two years of instructional experience in the fire sciences. (Minimum qualifications must be met to be considered.) Review of applications begins 11/16/09.
