Winter Park Memorial
Winter Park Memorial, a Florida Hospital, is a 298-bed acute-care facility that primarily serves the residents of northeastern Orange and southeastern Seminole Counties. Winter Park Memorial began caring for patients in February 1955 when it first opened its doors to the public. Florida Hospital fully acquired Winter Park Memorial in July 2000 and today it is operated as a not-for-profit, community-based hospital.
The Unit
Our Emergency Department has grown to 26 beds, including 18-monitored beds, to better serve the growing community of Winter Park. We see an average of 40,000 patients each year, with physician coverage for 16 different specialties. We like to say that if you’ve worked in our ED, you can work in any ED!
Job Description
- The RN is a registered professional nurse who is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age specific groups.
- Utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department.
- Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Job Requirements
Job Requirement:
• Minimum 1 year recent ED RN experience
• PALS or ENPC (or obtained within first 6 months employment)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Must be a graduate of a school of nursing
