Job Description

Seeking a Process Engineer:

This position is for�an experienced professional�with a BSME or BSCE�and a minimum of 3 years high speed continuous process experience in an industrial process manufacturing environment - must have demonstrated use of� Statistical Process Control (SPC), Multivariable Testing (MVT),� or Design of Experiment (DOE) tools.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Experience leading�at least 3 major problem solving projects from data acquisition to implementation of solutions.
• Leading or involved in at least 2 projects that demonstrated ability to effectively work with personnel in problem solving, process training and implementation of new procedures.
• At least 2 examples of�originating new processes or product changes.��
• Demonstrated use of �Statistical Process Control (SPC), Multivariable Testing (MVT),� or Design of Experiment (DOE) on at least 3 projects.
• Conducted at least 2 formal presentations to plant teams including hourly and salaried.�
• Must have demonstrated job stability - having been employed at one of last two companies at least 3 years.

• Will be a self starter -�can identify and resolve issues without direction
• Desire to win and be the best, self motivated to do what it takes to be successful
• Not satisfied with the status quo, always thinking of ways to make improvements
• Demonstrated use of Six Sigma or Qual Pro to improve process
• Ability to look at situations from total business perspective "big picture"
• Comfortable speaking and working with customers and vendors
• Use of Kepner Tregoe in "Problem Analysis, Potential Problem Analysis, Situation Appraisal, Potential Opportunity Analysis"
• Able to analyze situations “on the floor”
• High ethical standards
