Job Description

Pioneer Natural Resources is currently seeking Engineering Technicians for its office in Irving, Texas.  

The Engineering Technician will provide administrative and technical support including researching information, coordinating drilling schedule and tracking AFE's. Technical support loading and entering, verifying, manipulating and analyzing report data. Provide user support for software systems to other technical support and professional personnel, including installation and maintenance of software and troubleshooting user problems for Rigview, Siteview, and Wellview.  Create and maintain customized reports, schematics, and graphs for input and output of data and continually modify customized forms.

Job Requirements

A High School diploma or equivalent certification is required with a minimum of 5 years experience in an engineering technician support role in Oil & Gas industry. Experience must include involvement in workshops, seminars, and knowledge of operations, oilfield and technical engineering terminology, wellbore construction, production operations, state regulatory forms and regulations. Must be organized, detail-oriented, self-starter, team player, demonstrate the ability to multi- task and able to work with minimal supervision. Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite,  Wellview, Siteview, Rigview, and highly proficient with database software.  These requirements reflect the minimum requirements. The level at which a candidate is hired into is dependent upon the skill level and previous related experience of that candidate and the minimum qualifications for such level that they are hired.
