We are seeking experienced Customer Support Engineers to expand our renowned technical support group that presently services our customers, VAR's and distributors -- via telephone, email, web and ocasionally through on-site activities.  Presently, we have positions available for all shifts.

 

Reporting to the manager of Technical Support, this position will be based out of our Nashua, NH office.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

- Logging customer calls

- Working with customers to address concerns

- Triage, root-cause and solution or internal escalation of customer issues

- Timely status updates to customers and necessary contacts

- Bug & Enhancement submission to Product Engineering

- Trending of problems

 

While this role does not require extensive travel, there may be a need for customer on-site a few times par annum; 1-2 may require overnight stays.

Job Requirements

- Requires a BSCS or equivalent work experience, with 3 years experience in a technical customer-facing/call support role; prior experience as a systems administrator or network engineer is desired but not required.

-Experience configuring storage on multiple OS platforms including Windows, Linux and VMWare.

- Networking and switch experience strongly preferred.

- Excellent verbal and written skills.

- Strong troubleshooting skills

- Experience in many of the following is strongly desired:  Windows, Linux, iSCSI, VMWare, Solaris, Netware, HP-UX, AIX, MacOS, MPIO, Veritas DMP

- Experience with storage-based applications is desired (IE:  MS Exchange, SQL, Oracle, etc)
