Environmental Analyst
To provide business analysis expertise to business customers, to identify and define work activities/projects based on business direction and needs and to provide business application support to our internal and external customers. Work with business users to proactively identify and define enhancements to existing business systems and processes and develop business cases for new developments.
Major Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between IT and various business units as assigned
- Maintain working understanding of and follow prescribed System Development Life Cycle methodology
- Ensure that all documentation is complete, accurate, easy to comprehend, and meets current documentation standards
- Ensure customer satisfaction with the delivered solution by involving them and keeping them engaged from initiation through project close-out
- Assist project leaders in the delivery and determination of the business needs and corresponding specification of requirements for projects and release components, including participation in the new projects
- Assist in the design and implementation of a detailed user test plan to ensure an accurate and effective company projects
- Facilitate user acceptance testing on applications
- Work with vendor on training needs assessment and documentation
- Provide functional business application support for mission critical applications
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 2 years of experience as a business analysis or Information Technology working closely with customers
- Experience in gathering and documenting user requirements (generating conversation to understand user pain points in order to diagnose and capture requirements)
- Facilitation experience in end-user system training
- At least 2 years experience in system analysis and/or application program design
- Understanding of call center modes/methodology and technology
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong understanding of System Development Life Cycle
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to set and manage priorities
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict resolution
Preferred Background
- Experience in assessing business requirements for call center routing
- Experience in a call center / customer contact center environment
- Experience in a medical information environment
- Proven releases/projects delivered on target (budget, time, quality)
- Demonstrates a high confidence/satisfaction in requirements definition resulting in a reduction in amount of rework and development time/iteration
- Satisfactory application support levels
