Job Description

First Environment, Inc., a leading environmental consulting services company that provides strategic environmental and engineering services throughout the US, has a challenging career opportunity in their Northern New Jersey Office for an Environmental Engineer.

Responsibilities:  

• Coordinating, supervising, and performing field environmental site assessments leading to remediation design
• Oversight of design projects
• Training junior engineers
• Preparing and presenting estimates, proposals, and schedules on environmental projects ranging from site assessments to remediation design and construction
• Active participation in marketing/business development

Job Requirements

• BS in Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineering (MS Preferred)
• PE License
• Minimum 5-7 plus years relevant experience
• Team player with a high degree of self-motivation
• Strong ability to mentor and lead project staff
• Demonstrated track record with design remediation projects
• Hands-on remediation experience
• Working knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations preferred
