Job Title: Equipment Engineer
Location: Southlake, TX
Duration: 1 year
Job Description:
Calculate, define, forecast, procedure and lay-out all related hardware required for new cell site builds and network expansion projects as required by local market and design plan.
HAVE TO HAVE:
intimately familiar with PeopleSoft - this group uses PeopleSoft to track the buying and spending of equipment so contractor needs to have experience with tracking, cutting PO's, referencing projects, all forms, be able to go in and find out what been done on projects, etc.
Alcatel Lucent - BTS experience on 4.0 or 4.0B
Nortel cell site experience/Nortel BTS experience on MFRM, MFRM2
Motorola BTS experience on 40/4812
Be able to understand Nortel quotes when given certain criteria
Power plant experience
Battery experience
Cell site construction: Knows entire process of cell site construction so aware of what equipment need to where on site
