Title: Journeyman Allison Technician
Location: Anchorage, AK

Pacific Power Products is looking for a responsible, qualified and motivated technician for our transmission department in Anchorage, Alaska. If you are a skilled Journey level technician we may have a spot for you.  We offer training, clean facilities, advanced shop equipment, excellent pay and benefits.

JOB DUTIES:

• Determine transmission condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic tests, identifying deficiencies.       
• Accept ownership for accomplishing new & different requests & exploring value added opportunities.
• Verify transmission performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls & systems.         
• Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service & parts options.        
• Use good judgment to maintain a safe & organized work environment.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• Mechanical/Technical experience required.

• Experience with Legacy and World transmissions.

• Able to use DOC and perform timely diagnostic troubleshooting.

• Journeyman overhaul skills for legacy and World  transmissions.

• Ability to R&R transmissions in a timely manner.

• Experience with all levels of WTEC.

• Good customer service skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Valid Drivers License and must be insurable.
• Work well independently as well as part of a team.
