Multiple Family, Adult, and Geriatric Nurse Practitioners are needed in Deschutes County to perform health risk assessments for the elderly. This is a permanent, fulltime opportunity to join a stable national company that prides itself on delivering top-notch services to the geriatric population. Enjoy living in Central Oregon where the cost of living is low, and the Ocean and Portland are within a three hour commute! Qualified providers will visit three patient homes per day to complete a risk assessment evaluation, full history, and physical. Travel is compensated, and is focused on one concentrated area per day. Candidates must show that they are comfortable working independently, are flexible, and also demonstrate a true desire for caring for the elderly population. Responsibilities also include patient and family education on preventative care and how to treat active chronic medical issues. Strong clinical assessment skills are required. New graduates with a relevant RN background in geriatric care are welcome to apply.
