Job Description
Responsible for individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy involving children, parents and foster parents as needed. Make initial assessments and develop treatment plans in according to the needs of the client and /or family. Responsible for record keeping according to funding source requirements. Must be able to work collaboratively with case managers, Department of Child Services, as well as any other involved individuals and agencies.

Job Requirements
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related human service field. Eligible for licensing through the Health Professionals Bureau and has at least two years of experience working with children and families in a clinical setting. Must be familiar with the DSM IV terminology and capable of making diagnostic assessment. Must be able to respond therapeutically to the needs of the client and should have a broad-based knowledge of different treatment modalities and the therapeutic application of those modalities. Should be creative, pragmatic, assertive, and capable of acting independently.
