Classic Media is looking for a driven finance professional to join our team,  We are a global media company that owns and manages one of the world’s largest portfolios of legacy brands, including Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Frosty the Snowman, VeggieTales, Underdog and Casper the Friendly Ghost.  The Company develops, produces, licenses and distributes family, animated and holiday product for home video, television and merchandising world-wide.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

·        Preparation of monthly accounting entries for home video sales and costs

·        Sales and inventory tracking, analyses and reconciliation of subsidiary accounts

·        Update monthly sales forecast and assist in financial reporting and budgeting

·        Analyze inventory levels and projected sales in order to determine manufacturing needs and issue purchase orders for needed product

·        Track advertising and promotional expenses to ensure that such charges are in-line with budget

·        Work with the head of Home Video and management on special projects and profitability analyses

Job Requirements

·        Must be detail and deadline oriented, energetic, a self-starter and have the ability to work independently and as a team player

·        Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

·        Undergraduate accounting degree

·        Public experience and/or CPA and media experience preferred but not required

·        Microsoft Great Plains a plus

·        Proficiency in MS Office and Excel a must
