Financial Services Representative Job Description:
Perform prospecting activities, e.g., telephone and face-to-face methods to build client base.
Meet with business owners, human resource professionals, employees and individuals to acquire new clients.
Conduct needs analysis to determine lients’ financial and insurance needs.
Obtain licenses and registrations required to sell products offered by MetLife, including: life insurance, disability income insurance, annuities, mutual funds, employee benefit programs and other investment products.
Establish relationships with customers, sell MetLife products and close customer sales.
Service customer needs and policies effectively.
Manage relationships with Home and Head Office Departments, e.g. Underwriting.
