Company Profile and Facility: Eastpointe Health & Fitness is an individually owned and operated 8,500 sq. ft. full-service fitness center about one mile from the ocean in an affluent section of Middletown (near Atlantic Highlands) just over an hour from NYC. In business since 1999 and growing rapidly, the club offers personal training, weight loss programs, nutritional counseling, chiropractic, physical therapy, massage, state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment, and a wide variety of classes including Body Sculpting, Step, Yoga, Pilates, Kickboxing and Spin. Job Description / Summary: Eastpointe Health & Fitness is seeking a personal trainer who is experienced, responsible, certified, qualified and energetic. The individual must have a willingness to initially invest their time and effort to build a client base through prospecting current members, conducting orientations and performing floor hours. They must also have a fairly flexible schedule to allow for achieving a goal of at least 30 paid training sessions per week. Experience in teaching group fitness classes would be a plus. Once achieving their goal, there is the potential for management of the facilities training program. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated fitness professional. Job Requirements: Have a current, nationally recognized personal training certification Be willing to invest time and effort to build a client base Have a flexible schedule and willing to work at least 30 hours per week Gave previous personal training experience Have a current CPR/AED certification Demonstrate an enthusiasm for helping clients achieve their desired results Have expertise with strength training, cardiovascular training, nutritional, flexibility, and other areas of general fitness.
