Job Description
A growing on-line training company seeks a Flash Developer for a contract or full-time position as part of an e-Learning ASP services team. A thorough knowledge of flash development frameworks using ActionScript, graphic design, animation, software development practices and object-oriented paradigms is a must. No third parties please. This is not a designer position; a Flash programmer with design background is highly desirable. Candidates in New York City and Dallas preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with staff and clients to analyze learning needs, recommends E-Learning solutions, creates concept process and implements courses within the existing delivery systems.
- Designs and develops interactive E-Learning content including learning objectives, simulation scenarios, graphical arts, animations, audio, video and proficiency assessments.
- Creates and contribute to a rich library of robust, reusable components and tools to streamline future development.
Job Requirements
- 3 to 5 years Flash programming experience with rich media
- Experience with ActionScript 2 and 3 and XML
- Experience with on-line course design and LMS SCORM 1.2 compliance
- Proficient use of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Fireworks
- Experience in advanced web design principles (i.e. page layout, typography, color theory, visual focus, audio and video)
- Experience with PHP, Java and other scripting languages and SQL database a big plus
- Experience with ADA compliance a plus
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and remain open and positive
