FMLA Specialists and Representatives-Full and Part Time
The FMLA Specialists and Representatives telephonically assists our customers and their employees on the administration of their FMLA rights and resonsibilities.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and related laws in all 50 states to efficiently administer our customers' FMLA and related policies.
- Accurately articulate to the FMLA Source customer their eligibility, their responsibilities, their entitlement and the parameters of their leave request
- Listen effectively in order to identify and respond to the needs of the caller while remaining empathetic and assuring in matters of FMLA and other related leaves
- Apply concepts and rules as mandated by appropriate state and federal guidelines for FMLA and in coordination with the customer's policies.
- Consult with our customers employees and managers regarding FMLA related situations and conduct training as needed.
- Establish and maintains strong relationships with customer HR staff, disability center staff, and individual employees as needed.
- Initiate and implement any changes or additions to existing customers' policies regarding FMLA or related leaves.
- Process certifications for leave correctly and in accordance with regulations and customers' policies
- Partner with other FMLA Source team members to respond quickly to customer needs consistently and positively in order to foster a team environment.
- Prioritize and organize daily responsibilities in order to meet all deadlines in relation to correspondence with customers.
- Must be punctual and maintain an excellent attendance record.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- At least 1 year of Benefits Administration or related experience
- Strong Knowledge of FMLA and related laws
- Computer skills that include Microsoft Office
- Call Center or customer service experience a plus
- Stable work history required
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus!
