Job Description
Sodexo is seeking a Food General manager for 69 bed Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing facility located in quiet island community in Vashon, Washington. Sodexo manages food service 3 meals per day and housekeeping and laundry for facility. Candidate must be ServSafe certified and be either a Certified Dietary Manager, a Registered Dietitian or a Diet Tech. Hourly staff are client union employees. GM is responsible for managing client budget for food service and housekeeping and laundry. Requires computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook. Position reports to District Manager.
Position Summary:
Manages all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
Basic Education Requirement:
Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required:
2 year(s) of lead/supervisory/management experience
Basic Functional Experience Required:
