Food/Retail Service Professional to join it's management team at the Department of Veterans Affairs Out-Patient Clinic in Anchorage, AK . Paid Training will be conducted at the VA Medical Center in Seattle, WA

RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise store operations relating to retail, Food, vending, sales, merchandising, accountability, & misc services; meet financial operating budgets; perform full range of HR management functions.

Job Requirements
The incumbent in this position is responsible for all areas of canteen operations relating to retail, food, vending, sales, merchandising, accountability, misc. service of the canteen located at ANCHORAGE, AK. Incumbent is responsible for a full range of personnel management, administrative controls, reviews, & processes relative to canteen operations. e.g., POG’s, RPOS, inventory controls, stock schedule, food safety, sanitation, promotional programs, etc. The incumbent is responsible for attaining financial goals & implementing program objectives as established by VCSCO and/or Regional Manager.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must demonstrate successful operating accomplishments, and possess excellent leadership and managerial skills. Demonstrated experience in terms of scope and complexity of private FOOD/RETAIL industry management will be considered when determining qualifying experience for this position. Quality & complexity level of experience should be commensurate with duties & responsibilities of the position.
