Job Requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Direct Supervision of select number of sales representatives, assist DSR’s to identify proper sales strategies by customer and territory, identify growth potential and maintain relationships with key customer personnel.
- Progressive sales experience in the foodservice channel Strong desire and ability to motivate and manage people particularly in the foodservice channel or in a restaurant or foodservice business
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and increase sales volume by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call and/or visit existing accounts
- Prospect for new business within territory
- Ability to adjust presentation style to the buying needs of the client
- Closes new sales by building rapport with potential account, explaining products and service capabilities, overcoming objections, assists in setup of customer account with corporate office.
Requirements Required Skills and Duties:
- Progressive sales record
- Food Sales and Management experience
- Foodservice experience
- Ideally 10+ years sales background
- Drive to sell and grow territory volume, number of customer accounts, and sales revenue. Self-starters with good street sales experience
- Four year degree preferred
