The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Westchester/Hudson Valley Chapter is looking for an enthusiastic, highly organized individual to support and grow our Light The Night Walk and other special events.
Responsibilities Include:
Works on building appropriate marketing strategies for maintaining and expanding target audiences. Responsible for implementing these tactics to successfully recruit, acknowledge, and retain event donors/participants.
Assists staff in the development of a strategic plan to secure in-kind and cash sponsorships.
Prepares and/or oversees the development of all materials required for the successful implementation of LTN including recruitment/promotional flyers, invitations, pledge retrieval and motivational materials.
Qualifications:
• Fundraising experience • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills • Professional demeanor • Excellent written and verbal communication • Working knowledge of MS Office and database management • Strong interpersonal skills and judgment • Self motivated as well as a team player • Capable of balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree and related campaign, non profit, or special event experience required. Must have car and be willing to work flexible hours, including evening and weekends as needed. FT/excellent benefits. EOE.
