Republic Services, Inc. and Allied Waste Industries, Inc. announced Friday, December 5, 2008, that they have completed their historic merger to create one of the nation's leading waste and environmental services providers. We have a General Laborer position open in Euless, Texas.
The General Laborer performs general labor duties at a hauling company, MRF, transfer station and/or landfill. Performs general labor duties including any or all of the following:
- Cleaning up work areas,
- Fueling vehicles and equipment,
- Cleaning track on track type equipment,
- Yard work, including mowing and paper pick up,
- Operation of general site vehicles and equipment such as water trucks, pick up trucks, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment, etc.,
- General office maintenance including minor repairs, changing light bulbs, etc.,
- Directing traffic,
- Painting and janitorial work,
- Installation of temporary wind fences.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
