Provide the highest quality of guest service by training, hiring, motivating and retaining staff
Consistently maintain the cleanliness of the property through proper training and daily inspection
Provide positve and professional leadership
Provide accurate and timely financial information to the corporate accounting staff
Generate new business through targeted sales and marketing plan
Drive and maintain rate and occupancy through yield management
Maximize profit conversion by meeting budgets and controling costs
Job Requirements
Minimum of 2-3 years of hotel/motel General Manager experience.
Strong leadership skills with "hands on" management style
Proven oustside sales and marketing skills
Ability to budget and understand P & L statements
Competent in Word and Excel - must be able to pass competency test
Must be able to climb stairs and lift at least 30 pounds
Must have sufficient physical dexterity to kneel, lean over and lift from the floor
Have excellent comand of the English Language - both written and spoken
Experience and proficiency in the use of computerized PMS
Must have valid drivers license
