Job Description
Group O is searching for a GIS Analyst. Primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting spatial analysis resulting in high quality mapping and tabular reports of marketing projects.
- Installing and maintaining local, state and telecommunications spatial data.
- Developing and managing a proprietary marketing geo-database.
- Maintaining metadata on all data sources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing software application design and development in accordance with appropriate software development lifecycle requirements.
- Providing quality assurance for data and application deliverables as related to client needs.
- Maintaining data compliance with Federal standards.
Job Requirements
- Minimum four years’ experience developing enterprise Web based applications using Internet standards
- Minimum four years’ experience with Cold-fusion, C#.NET, VB.NET, Java, XML, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML
- Expert-level skills for ESRI ArcGIS, ArcIMS, ArcSDE, enterprise database programming
- Expert-level knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently and proactively to take initiative to solve complex problems using Web and database technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills
