We have an excellent opportunity for a Grants@Heart Administrator in our Research Administration office of the National Center in Dallas, TX.
The Grants@Heart Administrator will serve as system administrator for Grants@Heart. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, directing the maintenance and enhancements for the Association's research administration system, working closely with Technology and Customer Strategies staff to provide updates, management and retrieval services, and controlling access to Grants@Heart in order to maintain security. The selected candidate will provide consultation and user support to affiliate and national research staff, tier-2 technical support for external users, coordinate system training for staff as necessary, develop and manage software development/maintenance budget and manage contracts with outside vendors. Candidate will monitor maintenance, quality control and data integrity for Grants@Heart system, create research award programs in the system, serve as the team leader for virtual team regarding Grants@Heart system and Answers reporting tool and participate in the division's corporate and strategic planning.
Job Requirements
' Bachelor's degree preferred. ' Minimum of four years experience in operations management, project management or data management; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. ' Proficiency in MS Office applications, MS Oracle Answers or other query language. ' Knowledge of database structures and basic programming; knowledge of a structured query language; knowledge of a customer relationship management product such as Siebel . ' Ability to analyze data and identify and solve problems. ' Ability to train and document data related procedures for staff. ' Ability to interact with all levels of staff. ' Great interpersonal skills, team player and demonstrated, strong oral and written communications skills. ' Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment to meet daily goals.
