Job Description

Will provide information service/support in coverages
that include group medical, life, ADD, dental, short/long term
disability, NY & NJ state disability and travel accident. Coordinate
project information between broker & carriers, prepare, market/manage
all requests proposals to carriers and create/maintain all permanent
files and data base for accounts as assigned with time lines for
projects and daily tasks as assigned. Complete rate confirmations
and benefit spreadsheets and proposals on behalf of brokers and their
clients. Create routine correspondence with brokers and related
carriers using faxes, email and routine mail mediums that include:
termination/reinstatement, enrollment materials, plan booklet,
billing statement, broker of record, policy changes as well as
prepare/change client information sheet and assemble/update client
files. Verify rates and plan design to client, carrier and staff.
Create, manage and maintain new and renewal business process
(application enrollment forms, employer material, submission etc.).
Maintain book of accounts and handle virtually all service.

Job Requirements

L&H license required as well as 3+ years insurance
industry experience with working knowledge of group benefits and
state disability plans to include reviewing contracts/coverages,
preparing RFPs and managing client accounts with policy issues as
required.
