Detailed  Description
This position is responsible for development and deployment of new methods, tools and systems to assess weathering of materials and data analysis. It is also responsible for maintaining an awareness of trends in exterior substrates and executing studies to understand how coatings will perform with new substrate materials, communicating results of those studies and making recommendations regarding use of the materials in test protocols. Global analysis of exposure series data and the most appropriate recommendations will be provided to the technical organization along with insights into strengths and weaknesses in product formulation and raw material technology.

This position provides technical leadership and supervises a group involved in the design and evaluation of exposure series. Responsible for staffing, training, developing, mentoring and evaluation of new and existing employees. This position will play a key role in maintaining business relationships with customers.

Job Requirements

Experience Required:
1. Three plus years experience working in formulation, testing or a related field.
2. Two plus years of supervision / leadership experience.
3. PC and statistical data analysis experience is a plus
4. Experience in instrumental or test method development is a plus

Experience with Coatings is helpful

Educational Requirement
BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
