This job is located in Jackson, Wyoming.
You are expected to adhere to the company's mission, vision and value statements. Be knowledgeable of the company's management systems, policies and initiatives for
Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety. You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them. Responsible for the cleaning of
guest rooms cabins in an assigned area according to training procedures.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You must be committed to superior guest service and quality standards. As a team member of your department you play a key role ensuring the team's success and achievement of meeting and exceeding our guests' expectations. Our goal is to receive a minimum of 90% on our guest comment scores.
I. Must consistently provide legendary hospitality experiences to internal & external guests alike.
- When guests leave articles, complete proper form, attach to article and take to linen room at earliest opportunity or give to supervisor to be turned in to Lost and Found at end of the day.
- Clean bathrooms according to procedure.
- Change and make beds according to procedure.
- Dust furniture and fixtures in rooms
- Replace missing guestroom supplies.
- Vacuum guestrooms.
As part of this mission you are responsible for carrying out our core environmental values: promote renewable energy, reduction of waste, protection of wildlife habitat, and environmental education. You should strive to preserve, protect and inspire your team members and our guests to join in this effort.
- Support in room recycling and waste reduction program as instructed by the in-room hang tag or designated materials.
- All employees will actively participate in training, observe company policies and procedures, and promote all company values relative to protecting the natural environment.
Health and Safety
You are responsible for working in a safe and healthy manner. You must be knowledgeable of the company's work safe policies and procedures.
- Follow all training and policies as required by personnel and EH&S office including blood borne pathogen training, proper lifting, golf cart safety, etc.
NPS / Community Relations
You must be committed to working in partnership with the National Park Service and community organizations to enhance our guests' experiences. Our goal is to receive only fours and fives on the five point rating scale used by NPS.
- Report to area by 8:00 a.m. each morning dressed in the company issued uniform.
- Report rooms needing maintenance on work order.
- Report to work in proper uniform provided.
- Cleans 16 rooms/day after training.
- Perform other duties as requested by Inspectors and Head Housekeeper.
Job Requirements
1. Ability to lift, walk up and down hills, and bend without difficulty.
2. Ability to handle moderately strenuous activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
3. Must be neat and clean in appearance.
4. Ability to work with minimum supervision.
5. Good at repetitive tasks.
Blue knit shirt, Khaki slacks, and navy jacket provided by the company. Athletic type
closed toe shoes to be provided by the employee. No sandals allowed. Employee should provide warm clothes, which can be worn under unifonn on chilly days and ponchos or other rainwear. No backpacks.
