Data Builder is a leading developer of enterprise and project document management solutions for the construction industry. Our solutions help AEC organizations mitigate risk, improve operational efficiencies and manage the complete document lifecycle, from pre-construction to closeout. Data Builder, a Weitz Company, is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to be located in our West Des Moines, Iowa office.
The Sales Representative will service a dedicated US territory and will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our client base selling a variety of Document Management solutions. This position sells and services accounts via telephone, email, and face to face meetings. This includes building new business through outbound cold calling, cross selling new products into existing accounts and traveling (about 25%) to customer meetings within the assigned territory. The position will engage Sales Managers and Sales Engineers a required for technical expertise.

Salesmanship and the ability to influence others, telephone skills, and a professional customer service attitude and a strong desire to win. The ideal candidate must be aggressive, energetic, and professional.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical sales experience
- Four (4) plus years inside/outside sales experience
- Experience successfully selling software or ASP based solutions
- Must be Proficient in the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc..)
- An understanding of Document Management and business process automation tools is preferred!
- Knowledge or experience selling to the Construction vertical is plus
