1 year assignment
Work on a broad range of projects to support the tactical and strategic goals of a Wafer Fab within a functional area. The potential candidate will lead cross-functional teams to make improvements for processes and procedures. Interact with personnel in all process areas of our wafer fabrication facility in Newbury Park, California. Must convey professional image with the ability to lead, manage, and communicate to all levels of associates in a team environment.
Analytical problem solving skills will be used to identify factory bottlenecks, optimize WIP flow and tool utilization and improving overall equipment effectiveness. Must be able to operate in fast-paced operations with the ability to handle several challenges at the same time, have excellent organizational, project management and people skills. This position will entail engineers to identify and anticipate problems and opportunities for improvement, and then implement alternative solutions to improve our processes.
Responsibilities include developing capacity models based on time studies and using mathematical modeling to calculate/predict both short & long term capital requirements for the wafer fab. Candidate will also coordinate procurement of capital equipment and schedule tracking, plan new equipment and workstation layout requirements.

Job Requirements
�Thorough knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts, practices, and principles �Outstanding communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written) �Possess Project Management skills �Excellent problem solving and analytical skills �Ability to use software models to solve problems �Must be a strong team player, detail oriented, and perform well under pressure �BS in Industrial Engineering required, MS preferred �Three or more years related experience in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, experience in Semiconductor Industry preferred
