Job Description
The Inside Sales Representative will work directly with the Retail Sales Team to identify and sell our internet marketing services to qualified auto dealers. Using our internal database as well as external resources, the ISR will generate leads for the Regional Sales Directors in assigned territories. The ISR also has the opportunity to make sales and earn commission from those sales. Researching, prospecting, generating leads and setting up demos and appointments for the Retail Sales Team. Database cleansing and creation of new contacts Daily communication with Retail Sales on sales activity Daily outbound calling to prospects (quota set by manager) Provide inside sales support to assigned territory as needed OEM/Manufacturer Initiatives Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, skills, abilities required: The ISR is expected to have excellent communication skills (using English) and be familiar with Web based technologies (with on the job training provided for proprietary technologies and applications.) The position requires an in-depth understanding of the Dealer.com application architecture- how database, business logic, and presentation layers interact to create a web presence. Proven sales ability, critical thinking skills, and familiarity in a Windows environment are also required. As the vast majority of Dealer.com's clients are native English speakers, it is imperative that the Sales Rep be able to communicate clearly and efficiently in that language. Education and Work Experience: A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but 3-4 years of relevant work experience are acceptable substitutes.
