Accountable for implementing internal controls in departmental procedures
Accountable for the accurate and timely daily review, validation, balancing, monitoring and loading of the Epic Extracts
Provide accounting analysis and position papers as requested
Manage all processes related to the Peoplesoft staging area (file retrieval, storage and achieve, urgent uploads, etc.)
Primary report expert to conduct ad hoc accounting reports in Epic or data mart for compliance reporting (audit reports, tax reports, Medicare reports, grant reporting, etc).
Expert report writer skilled in SQL, Cognos, Peoplesoft and MS Office reporting tools
Accountable to lead and resolve G/L troubleshooting efforts (Hospital within Hospital, Research Billing, etc)
Business systems expert to supplement duties of business analyst post go live because analyst will be re-deployed to support other IT applications
Manage Epic reconciliation efforts with partners, Patient Accounting, Finance and clinical areas to ensure accurate and timely financial statements and compliance reporting
Decision maker to determine best practices to resolve data discrepancies and have authority to do
Manage post go-live build activities and have authority to prioritize work and ability to justify work
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
1) Process improvement - general ledger
2) Systmes Implementations - at least 2 implementations
3) Worked in PeopleSoft
