APS is currently seeking an IT Asset / Procurement Specialist. The IT Asset / Procurement Specialist is responsible for the day to day purchasing, shipping, receiving and inventory management of APS hardware related products. Success in this position requires effective negotiation with vendors and constant internal and external communication in order to maintain a timely flow of goods. A high degree of organization and attention to detail is required.
Primary Duties
 Procurement: Pricing, negotiating, receiving and drop shipping all hardware that is resold to APS clients. Pricing, negotiating and receiving all facility furniture, fixtures, equipment and computers. Maintaining excellent relationships with vendors and researching new products that may be of interest to APS to present internally as required. Invoice reconciliation and approval.
 Forecasting: Providing 30 and 60 day forecasts to vendors to ensure timely deliverables.
 Inventory Control: Track, issue, check-in and secure all inventory, issue equipment contracts for all borrowed APS equipment, manage RMA’s of internal equipment.
 Facility management: Manage landlord maintenance relationship and communications, move furniture when needed, keep cubicle office map current, manage phone system, manage access control of door and security system.
 CRM Inventory Management: Management of inventory of all products in CRM including cost and price book maintenance, activation and deactivation of products, CRM automation of RMA’s and demo requests.
 Shipping and Receiving: Shipping vendor tracking, shipping cost analysis, verifying packing slips, invoice reconciliation on shipping charges, managing claims and reconciliations and crafting and enforcing shipping policies and procedures.

 Ability to effectively communicate and enforce shipping and receiving policies and procedures
 3 years IT procurement experience
 BA degree or equivalent experience
