Job Description

Purpose: Direct and execute online content project management efforts. Develop and manage resources, documentation, and processes to assure smooth implementation of site content updates. Oversee the accurate, timely, and consistent presentation of all online product image and copy assets. Partner with Creative Services, Merchandising and Marketing departments to improve processes that support online operations.

Core Accountabilities: 'Establish processes and procedures to support the development of all online content. 'Work with business sponsors to develop content project requirements and timelines. 'Coordinate teams of designers, copywriters, engineers, and production specialists to efficiently build online content. 'Develop and manage content schedules. Direct team activities to ensure deadlines are met. 'Manage risk by identifying potential scope issues and trouble points early in project life cycle. 'Communicate project status updates to business sponsors and partners. 'Partner with project business sponsors to ensure their projects are completed on time and expectations are managed. 'Manage projects from conception through post-launch bug resolution. 'Partner with Development Project Manager to prioritize the workload, resolved resource conflicts and complete change and bug fix requests 'Maximize efficiency by identifying opportunities to simplify, consolidate, and templatize projects. 'Lead the effort to develop standards and processes around presentation of all product assets. 'Oversee the delivery and implementation of all digital assets including product photography and copy. 'Partner with Online Operations and IT Planning Director to develop division business processes that improve efficiency. 'Participate in the E-Commerce strategic planning process. 'Supervise E-Commerce Content Engineering staff (one direct report, one indirect report), E-Commerce digital asset production staff (one direct report, one indirect report), and E-Commerce product data staff (one direct report).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: ???Skilled in all phases of project management: definition, design, development, testing, and implementation ???Proven ability to deliver high-quality content in a high-volume web environment ???Strong project management skills; working knowledge of MS Project required ???Familiar with web site/systems development technologies, architecture and infrastructure ???Strong communication and supervisory skills; ability to lead technical & non-technical colleagues ???Successful work performance demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively, work well with others, use productive work methods, exercise sound judgment, and display initiative and innovation on the job
Education/Experience Required: ???Three (3) or more years at management level in web/IS environment ???Computer science undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
