Job Title: Clinical Support
Report to: Manager
GENERAL FUNCTION: Participate in the support and implementation of an electronic medical record system in a variety of health care settings.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Epic Ambulatory and Inpatient Experience
o Active licensure or Licensed Healthcare Professional
o Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows based applications
o Ability to use a keyboard / mouse
o Working knowledge of basic navigation of Web based applications
o Working knowledge of acute clinical settings preferred
o Ability to demonstrate understanding of clinical workflows preferred
o Well developed communication skills
o Ability to work with people at all levels in a variety of clinical settings.
o Possible travel
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
o Vision and hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written and verbal communication
o Ability to perform tasks involving sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time
o Record of negative TB test or chest x-ray
o Ability to deal effectively with stress
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
o Demonstrates a positive attitude in accepting assignments
o Support the hospital personnel with application specific questions and problems
o Support the implementation by following workflows specific to the department in relation to the application
o Assist the team with application build as needed
o Assist with training in a support role for the hospital personnel as needed
o Work with help desk and assist with application trouble shooting
o Adapts to the needs of the unit by working synergistically with the facility’s staff
o Reports at scheduled assigned times and dates
o Other related duties as assigned
