Job Description:
This position is responsible for JAVA & J2EE based Web Applications Development for an ITIL Service Management solution.This includes working within an application development organization to design and implement solutions for web applications, interfaces and related processes.The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years web applications development experience in CMMI level 3+ organizations.Position level is dependent on candidate’s level of experience.
Primary Experience:
6-8 years overall experience in OOA/OOD, Java, J2EE technologies, including but not limited to:JSP, JSF, JavaScript, JDBC, EJB, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, JMS, JTA, XML & XSLT
5+ years J2EE Design Patterns experience
3-5 years experience with BEA Weblogic Server, Web Services and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
2+ years experience with SQL, stored procedures, and triggers
Ability to quickly perform proof-of-concepts for validating new technology or approach
Ability to work independently as well as in a team, demonstrating exceptional analytical thinking, adaptability, enthusiasm and motivation
Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Secondary Experience:
Flex, Flash & AJAX, Cold Fusion â€" highly desirable
Java certifications â€" highly desirable
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
