JOB OPPORTUNITY JOB CLOSES: November 13, 2009 5:00 p.m. SOFTWARE SUPPORT TECHNICIAN INFORMATION SYSTEMS The City of Coppell is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Software Support Technician. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent. A complete and thorough knowledge of PC hardware, software and Microsoft operating systems as well as Novell GroupWise email application; at least one year of relevant experience in PC hardware maintenance and software support in an enterprise environment; ability to effectively communicate technical information in a user-friendly manner both orally and in writing. Current MCAS or MOS certification preferred. Must possess a valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record and be able to successfully pass drug screening and background checks. Must have good refrences. Salary range: $25.43 to $36.60 per hour DOQ.
