Job Description
Laboratory Assistant Laboratory Director Under the direction of the Laboratory Administrative Director and Medical Director, directs and evaluates the laboratory's comprehensive Safety, Quality Improve- ment, Quality Control and Continuing Education Programs. Coordinates activities of Department Super- visors and staff in these assigned areas. Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science or a Medical Technology Degree; Masters Degree is desired. Current certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent) is required. Knowledge of and experience with regulatory accreditation is highly desired. Five years in a supervisory capacity as a Medical Technologist is required.
