Our client, a media leader in NorthWest US, is looking for a solid LAMP Developer to help support their objectives by using programming, scripting, and database integration tools to develop professional, effective, and well-organized websites.

Skills Required

• Solid OOD and along with LAMP stack programming languages such as Javascript, Perl and PHP, and Web development tools.
• Must know HTML, XML, CSS, and other W3C languages.
• Experience programming to establish common gateway interfaces and/or application programming interfaces between Internet client software and Client’s data and other source information.
• Ensure system availability for access by clients.  Ensure data currency and integrity.  Institute web-based transactions with full security.
• Collaborate with programmers, designers, editors, producers and stakeholders across departments.
• Keep abreast of on-line trends and opportunities, and develop and maintain appropriate system, design and related contacts and industry knowledge. 

Job Requirements

Background Desired

• Expert level skills in Linux, SVN or equivalent source code management framework, XML, JavaScript, REST and RPC type interfaces, AJAX and JSON and PHP
• Strong skills with HTML, CSS, Perl, MySQL and relation database design, Apache
• Bachelor of Arts in computer science, programming or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
• Content management systems, Web publishing, ad serving, and search engine experience desired.
